Our projects
Empower Educators
Teacher development, teaching aids and learning resources
The purpose
Teacher development, teaching aids and learning resources
This project aims to support primary school teachers in schools we plan to work with through professional development workshops, classroom coaching, peer learning networks and suitable teaching aids and learning resources.
Support could include practical science materials, dictionaries, reference books and revision guides selected with teachers. Professional development and suitable resources could help educators explain ideas, strengthen classroom practice, teach inclusively and respond to different learning needs.

What support could include
- Workshops on active learning, inclusive teaching and assessment.
- Mentoring and classroom coaching to help teachers apply new methods.
- Peer learning networks for teachers across participating schools.
- Teaching aids, science materials and practical learning tools.
- Dictionaries, subject reference books and revision guides selected with teachers.
The difference we aim to make
- Greater teacher confidence in using engaging and inclusive teaching methods.
- Clearer explanations and more opportunities for hands-on learning.
- Lessons and assessment preparation better suited to pupils’ learning needs.
Our approach
Shaped by each school
Support should respond to a clear school priority, be suitable for the learners who will use it and be practical to maintain. The final scope will depend on assessed needs and available resources.
Listen and agree priorities
- We plan to work with schools to identify needs and agree appropriate support, permissions and responsibilities.
Plan practical delivery
- Local experts will review proposed activities for suitability, cost, accessibility and safe use.
Follow up and learn
- For approved projects, we intend to document the support provided, seek school feedback and review its usefulness.
Help in a useful way
- Contact us before offering books, equipment or other materials so we can discuss suitability and delivery arrangements.
